How long have you been in your industry?10 years
Why did you choose your industry? As a teenager, I tried many different business ideas. One idea that stuck was building Instagram pages - this is how I accidentally stepped into the influencer world. I became obsessed with understanding why people follow, engage, and trust certain brands — and how a story can move someone without ever meeting them. I knew that if I could master that, I could effectively market any business I wanted down the road.
Who are your typical clients? Our clients are typically service-based businesses, nonprofits, event organizations. They come to us when they’re ready to grow and ready to create a tangible, unforgettable online presence.
What do you like best about being in this industry? My favorite part of this industry is getting to sit down with business owners from all kinds of backgrounds, hear what inspired them, and learn the story behind their work. Turning those stories into creative strategies that help them grow is so fulfilling and keeps every day fresh.
What are common problems you see?One of the biggest problems I see is the obsession with quick wins — overnight hacks, going viral, and empty metrics. The industry has become loud but not intentional. A lot of businesses are posting constantly but saying nothing meaningful. There’s also a lack of storytelling; most marketing feels transactional instead of human.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Tell your story, even if it feels ordinary to you. What you consider “normal” is often the exact thing your audience will connect with. Also, marketing compounds over time, and the brands that win are the ones that show up with authenticity and stay focused on the long game.
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business? For me, growth has always come from being in the room. I’m intentional about networking, meeting people face-to-face, and building real relationships. It’s one thing to send an email; it’s another to shake someone’s hand, understand their situation, and find ways to bring value. When people meet you, feel your energy, and see your consistency, everything else follows.
